FC Barcelona have won six of the last ten editions and their overall haul has just got even bigger

FC Barcelona were already the team with the most Spanish Cup titles and now they have one more! After seeing off historic rivals Real Madrid in Saturday’s final in Seville, the Catalans have now won the knockout competition 32 times, eight more than second-placed Athletic Club with 24, with Real Madrid third on 20.
Recent years have brought more cup titles than ever, including no fewer than six in the last ten years, with the 2025 victory following on from those in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2021 and 2025.
Eighth win this century
They might be the ‘King of Cups’, but the period immediately before the last decade was a surprisingly barren one for Barça in terms of Copa del Rey trophies. Their first cup win of the 21st century didn’t come until 2009 in Pep Guardiola’s sextuple year. He won it again in 2012, and was followed by Luis Enrique (2015, 2016 and 2017), Ernesto Valverde (2018) and Ronald Koeman (2021).Hansi Flick’s name has now been added to that list.
The other wins
In the 20th century, Barça won the cup, in its various denominations over the years, a further 16 times… 1910, 1912, 1913, 1920, 1922, 1925, 1926, 1928, 1942, 1951, 1952, 1953, 1957, 1959, 1963, 1968, 1971, 1978, 1981, 1983, 1988, 1990, 1997 and 1998.
